I can use the creative process to design products that will impact everyday life.
I chose this particular card because as soon as Mrs.Ruggles said we had to do playing cards the browning symbol popped into my head. I figured it would be easy to do the three of hearts because i could do the buck and the doe or in this situation a pink camo buck and a dark camp buck. But the idea is supposed to be guys and girls. I am a sucker for romance and country stuff so this was perfect for me.
There was a lot of problems along the way. First I didnt think I was going to be able to make the camo in the deer look very good because I had little experience with it. The second problem that occurred was the back ground. I didnt know how to make the back ground camo large with out taking away from the rest of the picture. Third problem I had once I finnished the back ground was that it looked very blank. The hearts wernt colored in and there was a lot of space in between the hearts that looked incomplete. I chose the tree because I knew I could bend it and transform it so it wouldnt mess up the hearts.
In the end I am very pleased with my piece. It turned out better than I had hoped for. I feel like your eyes dont get stuck in one place to long. As if you want to scan the whole thing and keep looking over and over it. Later on I had the idea of taking the branches and forming the hearts but there would be no way to change that. Just an idea. :)
